Precisely because I was aware that the whole process is not bound to
be democratic, at least not in the sense of 'grassroots democracy', I
haven't complained before. However, I see absolutely no reason why I
shouldn't voice my objections at any time. It was a mistake on my
behalf not to have complained earlier, but that doesn't mean I need
to keep my mouth shut now, does it?
Perhaps the "Steering Committee" for R7RS can learn from previous
