[r6rs-discuss] Typo in 1.2 of r6rs-lib?

In 1.2 of r6rs-lib:

It says:
   (string-ci=? "XAOΣ" "χαoσ") ==> #t

I wonder if this is just a unicode typo (X and A are supposed to be  
capital-greek-letter-chi and capital-greek-letter-alpha) or if there  
is something I don't understand.  I was just copying and pasting some  
of the examples into the Ikarus REPL.
