Heh.  Here is a proposal for naming that I like.  We could refer to the 
languages as "Thing One" and "Thing Two" and use Dr-Seuss-flavored 
metasyntactic variables like Onefish, Twofish, Redfish, Bluefish, etc, 
rather than Foo, Bar, Baz, Quux, etc, in the code examples.
