There's *some* truth to it in the sense that it's obvious that Scheme
is no Python; but the conclusion that we should all just jump out of
the ship and focus on teaching is (a) still as bogus for the context of
this mailing list, (b) repeating that conclusion to anyone who's
willing to talk to you about Scheme is still doing active damage, (c)
even if Scheme is a "commercial disaster" in both academia and
programming, I don't see a point in holding on to one side just
because it looks a little better, (d) holding on to the view that
case-sensitivity is better because it's easier for (some) people to
learn is basically equivalent to switching over to case-insensitivity
because it is easier for most scheme students who know a different PL
anyway -- and both are just as bogus.
