Well, you need not worry; I am not running for chair of WG1.  :-)
I think R4RS is an important standard, and I don't mean to dis it.

As for Stalin, I grant that it's important, and that it's art, but
I deny that it's actually prior to anything in particular.  It's
a dinosaur without even avian descendants.
